Meet our key people

Dianne Gill, veterinary surgeon and practice principal
Dianne graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon from the University of Liverpool in 1995, having previously completed a Masters degree in animal nutrition. She has subsequently worked in general veterinary practice, caring for farm, equine and companion animals for almost 20 years. In 2008 she purchased Crescent Veterinary Clinic and now provides comprehensive treatment and care to all species of companion animals. Dianne considers effective communication between herself and her clients to be paramount and is passionate about providing consistent, high quality pet care. Whilst she works as a general practitioner covering all aspects of companion animal veterinary work, she has a particular interest in medicine and surgery. Outside of veterinary work she is kept busy with her young children on the family farm. She enjoys the outdoors walking her dogs and is a keen skier and horse rider.

Susie Thompson, veterinary surgeon
Susie graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2008 and joined Crescent Veterinary Centre in 2011. Susie loves her career and has a keen interest in all aspects of medicine and soft tissue surgery. She really enjoys getting to know clients and their pets and giving them a personal service. Away from work, Susie is kept busy raising her young family and enjoys long walks with her dog.

Sue Hodges, receptionist and nursing assistant
Sue has many years of experience in veterinary nursing and reception work and she joined Crescent Veterinary Centre in 2009. Sue loves interacting with clients and caring for their pets as if they are her own. Outside of work, Sue is a qualified riding instructor and formerly rode to a high level in one-day eventing.
